In the episode ‘Everything I am’ I discuss my major ADHD symptoms that make me, me. I talk about what it was like going through school with ADHD and how it affected my grades, how my college career was affected and then finally work. There are many more symptoms and stories I have but here are the few that I discuss in this episode; impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, hyperfocus, and working memory. I also discuss the friends my ADHD hangs out with including the learning disability dyscalculia.
Below you will find links to the two books I mentioned in this episode as well a link to the ADHD Rewired podcast.

Launch day, I can’t believe it is finally here. I have been planning and working on this for months…well on and off for months. Having ADHD I tend to start strong only to burn out and move on to something else kind of like a firecracker. What I have learned is that if it is something that I am deeply passionate about the firecracker is more of a slow burning candle.
I was so afraid this would be firecracker that I purposefully held back. I took it slow started doing research……lots of research. I listened to podcasts, watched many ‘how to start a podcast’ videos, read articles, I took notes like a champ, then I got overwhelmed. There is so much to starting a podcast that I had never even considered before I started doing the research. Obviously everyone will tell you to do this that or the other and everyone’s opinion on the best way is going to be different. There are media hosts, web hosts, SEO, pixel requirements, Hex/RGB codes, fonts, logos, taglines, branding, equipment, software, and on and on and on.
Here I am I have a website, media hosting site to run the podcast through, I have my social media started, I have my episodes recorded and edited, and most importantly I have launched. Some how I did it I waded through the ocean that is podcasting and for better or worse I made it to the surface. The question is how long can I stay afloat, I guess we will see but I plan on being here for as long as you will listen.
